Year 8's, our fantastic friends at Brooklyn School would like to know what types of activities you would like to do while we are in Wellington. Add a comment to this post with your ideas and then they will investigate the logistics.
deffinatly do a te papa visit, maby a tour of the bee hive, that is quite interesting. there is a beach near brooklands that you can see the south island from on fine days, I went there a couple of days ago and I could see the south island in the distance. Niamh =D
Hi everyone, this is Hans from Brooklyn School. We recently had a movie night displaying 3 short films. We raised roughly 5 thousand dollars! That's a big leap closer to getting you guys over here. Also our "Go without for Christchurch" is coming to a close. We don't know how much we have raised altogether, but we'll have a number soon. Some people have raised more than 400 dollars alone! We've also organised a raffle with a whole bunch of cool prizes, including a ride on a Harley and a vintage electric guitar. B-) Oh, and guess what? We even had an interview with George Heagney from the Wellingtonian Newspaper. We told them all about how we are going to get you guys over, and how excited we are. Oh, and any other ideas for where you want to go?
