Hi, i'm in farlie at the moment with Macgregor Willis and Maya Jeff, i am attending school with macgregor, the school is mackenzie college, its very different as it opperates like a high school and is taking some time to get used to, missing redcliffs heaps! my house hase been red stickered, and is on a perculiar lean and has numerous dangerous damage surrounding it. we slept in a tent for a few nights and then left for the Malbrough Sounds for a few days, then came to Farlie. Hope everyone is okay and safe.
hi, if school is not open before the 16th, I'm going to go to masdon in wellington, my cousin go's there so i will stay with her until school reopens. we are living in our house at the moment, but it is going to cost so much to rebuild it that we might end up just knocking it down and starting again. i hope that it dosnt come to that but who knows?
Hi im staying at castle hill and going to Springfield school with some other friends from castle hill. Iv'e made alot of new friends and its really fun. Our house got green 2 stiker which means its ok but it needs a few major repairs. We need to take out all of the down stairs rooms or take the house down and rebuild. The first few nites we stayed at our grandparents house and then we moved to castle hill. Hope everyone is ok. Oliver :)
Hi everyone! I am renting a house in Nelson, I am going to start attending school here within the next week. My ChCh house is too damaged to live in, some of the floors are sloping, it is filled with sand and of course there are, HEAPS OF CRACKS!!! I stayed in Methven for a week, at temporary accommodation provided by generous people who opened their homes to us. I hope everyone is safe. I miss you! :)
Sebastian Hayward Hi Everyone, We are still in our house. Our piles seem to be OK but we do have major damage but is fixable. We`had no power and water or phone for 8 days. Just got internet tonight. I made a toilet for my family to use down at the bottom of the garden. Hope all my friends and class mates are safe. Seb I have been doing some home schooling at home, and my music lessons have started again. We have had lots of friends inviting us around for meals , hot showers and Mum has been doing some washing.

Hi guys, it's Maya here ... WOW it's amazing how much everybody's life has changed. Don't you just sometimes feel that you want your old life back? Well, I do anyway! On 24th Feb, Thursday, me and my family and my street were evacuated because of the unstable cliffs behind us. The next day we headed off to Fairlie where I went to Mackenzie College for 3 days but then HAD ENOUGH!! Nothing can beat Redcliffs School! We stayed in Fairlie for 2 weeks and at the minute we are in Australia, on the Sunshine Coast. In 10 more days we will be heading back to ChCh but at some point we may be coming back to live here :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( Hope you are all safe and sound. Take care, Maya xxxx
