Congratulations to our winning Science Team!

Congratulations to our fantastic Year 7 Science Team. They won the Christ College Intermediate Science competition!! In Biology they had to create slides from plant leaves and use microscopes to identify the differences in their structure. In Physics they had to measure an oscillating spring under different weights, plot their measurements and then use this graph to identify a mystery weight. In Chemistry they had five different tablets that they had to identify through their reactions to other substances.

What amazing talent and teamwork. We are all very proud of you!

Black Caps Come to Town!

It's not every day that our idols/heros come to teach us a bit about playing cricket, and then to be on TV too!

Ukulele Time

What an amazing time we had with the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra. They played a song for us, taught us a song (in parts) and then performed with us on stage to the whole school. It was an extremely uplifting experience, well done to everyone involved.

Rugby Team @ Canterbury Winter Tourney

Well done to our rugby players. As Sam said not bad for a bunch of skinny white boys! I was impressed how you bounced back from a first up loss and scored a couple of good wins and draws to place fifth overall. Huge effort, well done!

Rugby Fever

We were lucky to have a show called Rugby Fever (as part of the Christchurch Arts Festival) come to perform for us.
